whazzzzzzz up??????

I feel pretty lucky these days!! I have had a great few months, crazy but great! I was able to make a quick trip to Utah in March (I hadn't been since Christmas!) and then two weeks ago Brad came out for a week and a half and then the day I took Brad to the airport, I picked up Kristen, who spent a nice long 3 day weekend with me...AWESOME!! It's been great spending time with them and both are seriously considering moving out here which would make this mama VERY happy!! Kristen found a home she really likes, and plenty of good work, but Dave wants to find something that would further his career rather than just a lateral move. Brad, just would like a change of pace and out of Utah for a while and really enjoyed his time out here... Sadie is just completing her final testing for her EMT licensing and Kasey just started a great new job with a lot of potential for a business phone/communications company. My cute little Maren is doing wonderful, in an awesome preschool and also great occupational and speech therapy classes...she is such a happy, outgoing and loving little girl! I so wish the miles did not keep us so far away!

My Daughter Came To Arizona!

This past weekend, Kristen flew in from Utah to visit me...she needed a break and I needed my daughter! To say that we had a grand time would be an understatement! From just relaxing at home in the sun & hot tub, we went to the grandest Spa on earth! We had a great evening seeing my cousin Jeremy's band, the PJ's, (a lot of talent in this little group), and then onto the red rocks of Sedona on Saturday. It was a time I will never forget! Some wonderful memories were created and I, again, am reminded of what an amazing daughter Kristen IS and has been. I am extremely fortunate in that respect, I have the most wonderful kids and family!! (and I include my new family in that, as well!) To Kristen, I love and thank you for who you are! To Sadie, get your BUTT down here, I miss you too much! Kasey, well come on, you KNOW this is your oasis and that I can't live without a visit from my #1 son, and Brad! You have to come and experience this place! You will love it and believe me, time with you is something I don't get enough of! I was soooo excited when she came, and cried like a baby when she left...having her be so far away is tough, I miss my Utah family a lot! We are closer than most and have a bond that can never be broken. I love how my kids are each others best friends and draw strength from each other as well hang out and have fun! Kristen is unique in the fact that she has so wonderfully taken the hard times in life and risen above them and allowed them to help her be the awesome young lady she is today! I admire and love her so very much! She's been a second mom since she was little, worrying and caring about her brothers and sister, and then has turned around and been such a strength and influence to me!! Yep, I'm lucky!!!
